• Goodspeed tallies nine saves in water polo’s loss to Claremont-M-S

    The Chapman University women?s water polo team fell to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (12-5, 5-1 SCIAC) earlier this evening. Despite losing 9-4, senior goalkeeper Kerry Goodspeed led the Panthers (5-12, 1-4 SCIAC) in the cage with nine saves and four steals.

    The Chapman University baseball team run-ruled the visiting Principia College (8-3) in the bottom of the eighth with a 12-2 victory. Junior Tristan Kevitch hit two bombs for the Panthers (14-7), including an inside-the-park home run in the bottom of the fifth.

    The Chapman University men?s tennis team completed the doubleheader victory for the Panthers as they beat Lake Forest 7-2 earlier tonight. Similar to the women?s match earlier today, sophomore Len Kamemoto completed a come-from-behind victory on the No. 2 court in his singles match.

    After going down in the top of the first in both games, the Chapman University softball team battled back to sweep a doubleheader from Western Connecticut State, 13-3 and 4-2, on Friday. Sophomore Samantha Tong drove in five runs and junior Elizabeth Runge went 4-for-5 over both games.

    The Chapman University women?s lacrosse team won a late-game comeback thriller earlier this evening against the visiting Stevenson University (1-6). The Panthers (1-6) were led by junior Danielle Zahn and sophomore Alexandra Callaway, who each scored a hat trick in their 11-9 victory.
  • Baseball sweeps doubleheader from Dickinson

    Senior Gavin Blodgett and junior Alex Tsuruda each drove in five runs as the Chapman University baseball team put up two dominant wins over visiting Dickinson, 6-2 and 12-1. The Panthers? pitching staff remained stingy on the mound, holding the opposing lineups to two runs or less for the fourth and fifth games in a row.
