This award is given to the nation?s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
  • Claremont Colleges Rugby Closes Out Successful 2018 Season

    2018 marked a successful year for the Claremont Colleges Rugby team as the Men's (Lions) and Women's (Foxes) teams placed high in the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO). Several Pitzer students shone during the season as Dana Alimena ('19) of the Foxes was selected by NSCRO to be on the Select 7s team while Abraham Asante ('20) was nominated for the Penn Mutual Life of Significance Award.

    The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) named Pomona-Pitzer Men?s Tennis Head Coach Steve Bickham onto the ITA Board of Directors on Thursday morning, announcing 18 other members whose work will begin July 1, 2018. The 19 members, seven of whom are ITA Member Coaches, will be working together to support the ITA and advance the sport of college tennis.

    The final day of the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship bode well for the Pomona-Pitzer Men?s and Women?s Track and Field program as the afternoon ended with two Sagehens, Andy Reischling and Helen Guo, taking home All-American honors. Despite the heat and the high humidity over in La Crosse, Wisconsin, the Sagehens battled through the elements and showed their best effort at Roger Harring Stadium.
